What is a Block Captain?
The Texas Blue Action Network is the country’s largest year-round volunteer relational organizing campaign. This program is an extension of our neighborhood canvassing Block Captain program. It is marrying our relational program and our canvassing program to make organizing simple, efficient, and more effective. There are millions of Democrats in Texas who are registered to vote, but who are not making it to the Ballot Box.
This program matches you with a home turf of, no more than 50 Democratic voters who are unlikely to vote in your neighborhood. UNIQUELY, an introductory postcard with your picture will be sent out to your home turf. This has been proven to increase voter contact rates & turnout!
